It's amazing how much that sounds like a double bass. I've heard guys do something similar with the floor tom and that made sense to me since it's at least a lower pitch, but I would not have guessed that ghost notes on a snare end up sounding like a kick drum when you play them fast enough. Really cool.
Great musiciens EVER ❤🎯💎💪🏽
1989. 👍
Love this era.. I remember when I heard the news that John was back.. it was a good day! John’s outfits in this era are my favorite. Love the fiesta red jag also, great sound 🫡🙏
Love their version of ‘Castles made of sand’ ❤
John...! So hot it's surprising he didn't spontaneously combust! 💥🔥❤😍🤩
Didn’t know Will Ferrell could drum
Legend
Its hard enough playing this bass line sitting down ahahhahaja fleas so accurate its disturbing
Still one of my all time favorite early UA-cam upload gems -- damn what a jam and vibe
Eu iria muito num show desse, nossa senhora kkkkkkkk muito bom!!! Por favor, espero que eles voltem a produzir música juntos ou que pelo menos revisitem as antigas e façam uns shows por aí!
Does anyone know what this clip is from? or where i can find the full version?
this is the drumset of my dreams
That snare is quite possibly the best sounding snare in rock. Would smash in hip hop....rock..funk... jazz....its unbelievably killer sounding.
Liked this video of 14 years ago and still love it now
Is this the same guitar John still uses (did he sell it when he was strung out) - just look at the lack of wear compared to his main one now. Been a fan since 1998! 2:49 is one of my fave John moments ever.
Nice
I love it
Well said flea and Anthony
5:26 is the moment where Chad lost his mind
Definitivly you are my proffessor 😂❤
HOW I WISH I WAS ALIVE DURING FS UMPP MM AND BSSM ffs fuck being born in 02 haha
What is ball and chain a cover? If it is who’s is it??
5:00 Holy shit a bit of Steve Gadd right there, Chad is surely underated.
Chad Smith is such an amazing drummer. He taught me how to groove.
Chad is the funkiest white man alive
Love that snare sound
Year?
1992/1993 circa
Are we going?
This song really channels Zeppelin with the drums and wind instruments
This is the song that made me take up bass and I don't regret any of the money or time spent on it for a second
What a crazy performance! Love it 😍
This drum part also kinda reminds me of Falling into Grace
it look like 90s cheap asian telemarketer commercial. anyways awsome.
I feel like thay guy that said "welcome back johny" but years later Hahahaha
i'd watch this even in 50p :D
What's the song they're playing live in the beginning?
John breaking out his inner Ian Curtis!
Chad smith is the best pocket drummer of all time. Fight me.
wanna cover it. Just listen to the album version...timeless
I believe in John Frusciante's supremacy
Amen
why does this song sounds very purple?
Nice reference
That jam at the start is so cool
they all absolutely crushed. so organic
This is amazing. As soon as he mentioned Jimi, I knew he would say something about Manic Depression.
What's that stuff growing out of his head?
Chad might be my favorite drummer in history. The guy is just fucking awesome.
Best drummer I ever saw...
You’ll never know
Funky Black cat's theme song
Two central souls of Red Hot!
